Of course because I liked Level-5 and I wanted more Yo-Kai Watch (and another LBX) and now I’m soured on the developer and won’t be able to trust them anymore. I’ll just add them to the ranks of ActiBlizz, EA, Ubisoft, Rowling and the Crazy Taxi franchise as things I will no longer support.

So, I found out the following: Nintendo apparently offered to keep helping with publishing and localizing Yo-Kai Watch games after the first game, and Level-5 declined because they didn't want to share 30% of the earnings. Meaning the West got screwed by money... Well, we know how THAT went...

So, here's a "fun" fact for anybody who played Level-5 games. Did you like Yo-kai Watch? Do you wonder why it suddenly dropped into obscurity? It's because Nintendo wanted to exclusively publish Level-5's games for a cut of the profits and Level-5 said no. Level-5 has always been greedy to a fault.
