Samsung needs $180 up front for a tech to determine the cause and it's not clear that installation is covered. After thinking about it briefly we decided that what we really wanted from Samsung was a pound of flesh. Since I don't know how to go about doing that we'll get a fridge from Costco.

Our refrigerator stated making expensive noises, and then stated making expensive smells. It says on the front there is a 10 year warranty on the compressor and the smell is the paint wafting from a 160F degree compressor. It's 8 years old so this sounds simple.

If it is we sure are in trouble, and it does seem likely considering how they are trained. Can we start over and train them on fairy tales and mythology and somehow train them to discriminate (take *that*, normalized heatmap of predictive text!) between learning a lesson and reality?
