ITS AMOK TIME DAY i almost missed it. have this piece i never posted anywhere heehee

a lineless landscape of vulcan done in a sort of travel poster style with its two suns and a red sky. in the upper left corner text reads "this is the vulcan heart" spock and kirk are wrestling in the midground with spock's hands around kirk's throat. kirk's face is red with lack of air. his shirt is cut open, showing his chest and a line of blood cut accross it. the blood drips down into the large red letters of AMOK TIME at the bottom of the poster

couldn’t decide which version to post, so yall are getting them all (plus the screen shot where i held them both side by side and fretted over it). #batman #brucewayne (greatest escape artist or seeing where the night goes?)

the full monty in my original color scheme; bruce is kind of tied up at the moment, but that’s okay, he’s probably use to it. i wanted to try funhouse mirrors but i made them derelict—or tried to lmao, the reflections (my poor attempt at them at least) are of batman and himself. in the broken glass. he’s got only a shirt and socks on because i’m not imaginative enough to draw clothes lmaoooo

this time there’s a warm gradient over it and a light leak which i think looks cool as fuuuck but it also undoes some of my ‘learn to use blues’ coloring lmaoooo; same descrip as the last: bruce is kind of tied up at the moment, but that’s okay, he’s probably use to it. i wanted to try funhouse mirrors but i made them derelict—or tried to lmao, the reflections (my poor attempt at them at least) are of batman and himself. in the broken glass. he’s got only a shirt and socks on because i’m not imaginative enough to draw clothes lmaoooo

this is the screenshot of me putting them both side by side because i could not for the life of me decideeeeeeeeee WHAT LOOKS BETTER?!?!?! ugh how do people color fr. i’m struggling.

aaaaaaand of a crop of the lineart because even if i can’t decide on a coloring option, i am v happy w how the lineart always turns out.

the script took a lot of shortcuts, and it would've had more room to build and breathe with lobo as a well-placed cameo (or without him completely)

Nix @spirkme915.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

looks like i'm very much in the minority on not liking lobo in supergirl. he felt like an addition to appease or draw in a certain sector of fans instead of bringing anything of worth to the story. the tone of his character also undercut the grief/revenge/anger angle instead of acting as a foil

played around w a different brush for linearting; got carried awayyyy doodling for @hell0ntoast.bsky.social 💖💖💖 #spike i forgot to paint spock’s nails lmao oops. ALSO: i need to draw more star trek lolol (also also, im probably going to redo this with my normal brushes but i’m slep. lol)

messing around with brushes and textures as pike tilts spock’s chin up. i gave spock pink lipstick because i figured he deserves lipstick and pike can kiss it off of him, no biggy. Spock is giving pike cheek kisses btw whilst also touching his captain’s mind u.u you know like the freak he isssss.

lineart of the same; spock giving pike kisses and pike staring at spock’s lips wanting real kisses. you know how it goessss, also a baby meld is happening. because why not u.u i used a dfferent lineart brush because i just wanted to play around with my dolls. i kind of dig it, it’s like—manga’esque. right/ messy. I did have to go over different spots a ton to add weight which is wild because the brushes i normally use just add the weight for me when you tilt the stylus, but this one was just not that. learning curve!. fun to play with!

milly alcock delivers the tangible details and is the emotional core. i think craig gillespie is the failure point. he wasn't up to the task (or anywhere near milly's level). still enjoyable. would've loved to see a version of this movie in different hands.

Nix @spirkme915.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

so i just walked out of supergirl. definitely not an "origin story" problem (milly nails those scenes and the character as a whole). it does have a script and editing problem (maybe a musical score problem too). rushed beginning, uneven script/editing, villain was flat...

when is the blood on your cheek not your own? #superbat

fully rendered pic of batman under superman who's hands are on either side of batman's head, holding himself and other things up, whilst bleeding and suffering green green glowy thing lol batman is coming to terms with failing him, probably.

line art of batman under superman; superman's hands at either side of batman's head. there is no green glow here nor bleeding superman! alls well! just clark being like kabedon x2 @ batman and batman's concern is actually just cringe from a really bad come on from clark. yup, that's all that's happening here~ no one is in danger of dying. nope! super awesome fun times to be had!

Shootout at the O.K. Corral

A shot redraw from the episode Spectre of the Gun. One of my favorite episodes. Chekov has been shot dead and is face down on the ground. McCoy and Spock are crouched to the left while Jim and Scotty are crouched and hovering on the right of him. The love interest woman is standing behind them with tears down her face. All are looking forward at the antagonists of the episode outside of the shot.

I made a collage last night about Spock's relationship to his spirituality & I'm quite proud of it ngl

Collage featuring art of a futuristic looking desert city at the top, a quilt pattern of stars, the scene from 2009 of Spock and Kirk talking to Nero on the view screen, art of an androgynous lite player sitting in the woods, some Celtic knot art in the corners, and a woman holding up a cloth. There's text as well that's split into 3 sections. The first reads "but many more Gods were 'natural' Gods with 'civilized' aspects or vice versa. God who were worshipped in both field and city with different aspects in each. Vulcan, for instance, was a God of volcanoes and also a God of smithing and metalwork" The second one reads "I myself have relationships almost exclusively with deities and spirits of civilization, for reasons I've never properly understood. Maybe it's out of necessity." And the third reads "the countryside is beautiful and visiting is always a pleasure, but human energy is what draws me and pulls me in most. It's vibrant and always changing, and very seductive to me"

The saw collage from before only now the art of the androgynous lyre player has been opened to reveal with behind it, which is an image of Spock from 2009, some space dust, a tentacle, and the words "walking between the worlds". On the left hand flap of the opened art there is an image of Kirk and Spock looking at each other intensely. On the right is art from a tarot card of the Lovers
