Two people search through the contents of a set of crates in the attic of a house. They pull out a brooch and a scarf, and decide to put them on, only for the items to begin suddenly transforming them both! Their bodies shrink, clothing sliding off, as fur begins to grow from them and many tails burst forth from their behinds…

Dialogue:

Concept I had for a corrupt alchemical guild that specializes in healing and medicine but uses that for evil (like turning dissenters into demi rats)

A whole lot of text with some sketches showing a frightening-looking mechanical apparatus, a human with a rat's snout, and an anthropomorphic rat with braces. Entire text of the image below:

To keep the populace under control, the Great Alchemical Guild has recently devised a new form of torture for traitors. With the Guild's advanced healing potions, traitors can survive otherwise fatal disfigurement, and if the process is done slowly enough, their forms can be sculpted to the Guild's preference.
Due to the numbing effect of the potions, the procedure itself is only mildly painful, but the effects are permanent, marking traitors for life. Traitors are also no longer legally considered fully human, and thus lose many of the rights that the Guild's loyal citizens enjoy.

The face extension apparatus uses a series of adjustable needles and clamps to continually stretch a restrained traitor's face out while keeping the tissue saturated with healing potions.

The rat-like appearance of disfigured traitors is intentional. In fact, traitors are often conditioned to habitually rummage through garbage for scraps of food.

Face extension almost always severely degrades vision; the Guild generously provides lensed eyewear to traitors, free of charge.

To prevent the teeth from returning to their original positions or falling out, traitors are also outfitted with specialized dental braces with large, reinforced incisors

Face extension alone is
sufficient for minor offenses,
such as:

- Attempting to leave city
limits without authorization

- Lying to law enforcement
personnel

- Criticizing the Guild

Further disfigurement is typically reserved for more serious offenses:

- Divulging trade secrets to
outsiders

- Owning weaponry without
authorization

- Advocating for rebellion
