Artificial ones can be impressive but they just aren’t the same.

This is more common than you’d sadly think. In the anime voice acting sphere, there is a series of animated films made by an actual cult known as Happy Science. A lot of household name actors have voiced in these; I doubt many of them knew that when they recorded. Sometimes it’s just a paycheck.

I should’ve expected this when I first read stories about LLMs solving these problems. From what I’ve read about the field, when a complex proof is published, it’s always provisional, and must be vetted by other mathematicians. But error-finding techniques for humans’ work won’t translate to LLMs’
