I've found a really effective life hack for not contributing to the unrestrained consumerism, I call it "too broke to buy food". Can't consume much that way. Ofc the trade off is you can't afford food but "cup half full" and all that. Got to find the silver lining.

Idk man, I'm kinda torn on this one. On the one hand, this dude seems like he's overreacting but on the other, a lot of kids should not be out in public. You know what kids who go see movies like? To be able to hear the fucking movie. Kids being kids is cool, screeching monsters for 90 mins isn't.

This was easily the worst Star Wars movie for me. I'd rather have another 10 Rise of Skywalkers than sit through another pointless slog like this one. It was like sitting through a fireworks display which I also haven't enjoyed since I was about 6. Lots of lights and sounds & no point to any of it.

Trans people are not “fighting for unpopular positions that society isn’t ready for.” Trans people are fighting to KEEP the rights we have enjoyed for decades. We have been able to legally change our gender markers since the 70s and before. Same with bathrooms, sports, youth, all for decades.

The FCC is floating the idea of making shows put up a warning if they include or discuss trans people and trans lives. A short paragraph objecting to this would be helpful! The deadline for comments is May 22: www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings...
