We have a coat-cupboard thing under the stairs and we call it "The Beef Cupboard" because the cat always wants to go in it, as if she expects it to be full of tasty beef. She sits at the door, meowing until you open it. Then she goes in and checks under the coats to make sure there's no beef today

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar responded by saying it was "absurd for Britain to lecture the Jewish people about where they may live in their historic tiny homeland".

He said: "The UK government's decision to damage the relationship between our countries is deeply unfortunate."

tbf.. if you put a pan onto an empty ring, it selects it automatically and then you just tell it how much energy to wang into it. and also, part of the appeal is how it totally integrates into the surface, without things sticking up. i wouldn't go back. just think they could improve the interface

yeh this. we have induction and it's genuinely great for the actual cooking... but the interface on ours is annoying. if you e.g. wipe near the controls with a damp cloth it can say "error".. because it's capacitative. it's a miele which i think is one of the decent brands
