I've been active in lefty politics in the UK, US and Finland, with some knowledge of Germany, France and a few other places. And there is a culture of sectarianism, mistrust & backstabbing in the English left that doesn't seem to be present in other countries -- especially in London, it's vicious.

This is the "force majeure" clause, which is not like a normal force majeure clause (which allows the parties to back out of their commitment in case of war, wildfires, etc). *This* force majeure clause lets Warnermount tear up the entire agreement if there's a *strike* or a *recession*.

I have heard other teachers use "their brains are not fully formed yet" to justify depriving their students of basic human autonomy.
