one of my students who did not know what Kalshi was took one of the coffees and they tried to get her to sign up for it, she said no but they talked her into taking a picture with the kalshi sign holding the coffee.

Kalshi is doing a promotion on 125th st in front of @housingworksnyc.bsky.social and down the street from @onpointnyc.bsky.social, I am infuriated. Their marketing is deceptive and really clearly targeting vulnerable communities that have been locked out of financial markets.

One day I hope my book gets like a premium reprint—I put a lot of work into the depth of inkwash and the way it was printed washed that out quite a bit. I knew that but it’s really driven home looking at an excerpt printed by a different press. The tones are so much deeper.

Heavyweight the original book on top of/ compared to an excerpt published in a different book.
