According to Gil McGowan of the Alberta Federation of Unions, Carney's Bill C-39 to prevent strikes before they happen, is written in such a way as to be practically unchallengeable. So now unions are being sacrificed to make rich investors richer? Once the right to strike is lost, what's left?

Carney was elected in Canada for two reasons. 1. There was no other choice. 2. He promised to fight Trump and the US. Most Canadians knew his history and knew we would have to be the opposition party to protect our interests. Keep loudly criticizing him when he strays. Elbows Up!

The good thing about high oil prices is it means EV's and solar take over faster. High oil prices create demand destruction for oil as it gets replaced with sunshine and batteries which become increasingly in demand, grows the industry, attracts talent improving tech, and lowers cost with scale.

Indeed, several great studies on how GM, Ford and Toyota worked very hard to try and slow or stop EVs. It’s a big part of why I’ll never buy their products. They’re also pausing or retreating/delaying EVs now. Love owning a great, globally competitive EV from a company bringing tons more to market
