Yup, that's exactly what I was talking about. The game recycles a lot of geometry in the second half. I also think so missions just really overstay their welcome pesonally. It was due to them running out of time but anyone who is ignorant of that flaw is dumb.

Combat evolved being the best sort of depends on how you look at it. Narratively I could see it just because the mystery of the ring and exploring it is really cool. Gameplay wise? Hell no. The sandbox is really solid but the second half being all recycled geometry blows.

Also, when I say "Halo fans" I don't mean every single one ever. I refer to the vast majority that just blindly hate anything past Reach and think Bungie Halo is just perfect with absolutely no flaws whatsoever and that any other Halo is a goddamn Heretic.

Im convinced 343, Halo Studios, or even Activision could hypothetically push out a Halo game to rival the likes of Halo 3, literal Ambrosia in Halo form, and they'd spit all over it because Bungie didn't make it or because it's "woke" or some other dumb bullshit. Halo is fucking done.

I know this is different from my usual of just reposting memes and art but after the news today and seeing people literally cheer for Halo's change of hands just made me need to get a rant out. All of the Bungie suckups did this to Halo themselves and don't deserve a good Halo game.

4 and 5 had their merits and were still super fun games. But nope, apparently loadouts means Halo 4 is CoD and Spartans moving faster than a brisk walk and being able to aim their weapons is utter blasphemy. Lets just ignore all the good these games had and pretend that Bungie is perfect.

Yeah, we know that Infinite suffered from Microsoft meddling and Campaign Evolved had a similar issue on top of mismanagement from Halo Studios. But I'm convinced the general fanbase put them in this position in the first place due to their weird belief that Bungie Halo is gospel.

Nevermind that Halo 4 and Halo 5 still played really well and that Halo 5 had the best multiplayer period. Were the campaigns great? No. But thwy shouldn't be judged solely on their campaigns. Halo is more than that and always has been.

They always treat Bungie as this weird golden standard of perfect video games with no flaws whatsoever while 4 and onward is an affront to Halo christ. Did the 343 games have flaws? Of course they did. But so did the Bungie games! But nope. Halo CE-Reach are jist perfect video games I guess.

I can't believe Halo "fans" are seeing the news and thinking "anything is better than woke 343." It's actually infuriating. They always complain that 343 killed Halo when the simple fact is they themselves did it because they were too goddamn stubborn to accept any change.
