i posted an epiphany i had about why i hate AI so much on fedi and i wanna post it here but it won't fit and i don't wanna cut it down to size so fuckit i'm just posting a screenshot

Eniko Fox
@eniko@mastodon.gamedev.place

OH. right! i get it now!

i get why AI is so depressing to me. because covid already shrunk my world to almost nothing, where almost all of my life revolves around socializing and watching videos on the internet (which is being ruined by AI) and creating creative works through coding (which is being ruined by AI), often using open source tools and libraries (which are being ruined by AI)

i already had so little and now even that is being rotted away before my eyes

People were like no, using genAI doesn't deskill you. And then *all* the CEO's started announcing that not only is deskilling the explicit goal, but then they brag that they don't know how to toast a poptart

potentially new job however it would still be 10 hour shifts BUT i'd get paid breaks, and a lunch, full benefits off rip MATCHING ,not just a percentage, 401k and potential tuition reimbursement. 1st shift for training, they're lookin for a 2nd shift soon tho. and consistent days off

ko-fi and paypal situated so comms are good to go! I still dont know what caused it but it's good now. Something about verification process being delayed and other issues with the account numbers not lining up ??? but it's good now. Just an issue of recent payments being on hold until next month 😥

If you have nitro or got nitro again after the last time they pulled this. It's now or never. You *need* to cancel it. If you don't want age verification then you need to stop giving them your money. Send messaged in to their support pages too. It all helps.

OC sketch 🙏

A muscular woman from behind, she has short messy hair tied up in a small ponytail. She's wearing a tight white vest and she's sweating so the vest looks a little damp. She has some durable work gloves on her hands and has her arms raised up in a flexing pose. She has a tattoo on her left arm and is wearing a heavy duty belt that is holding a big sledgehammer at her back. The sledgehammer has a heart shape carved into the head.

Fox's OC Hahzel givin you a heads up.

Fluffy beige and black jacket, a nice comfy white tanktop, and red shorts. Honestly a really nice color pallet!

She's also got this really vibrant purple hair that compliments her skintone so it's just *mwah*

The original version of this was posted on my FAisDM (felicitousArtisan is Darth Mongoose) Tumblr many years ago. I drew it at about 11pm right before going to bed, trying to express something I felt about art. When I woke up it kinda blew up.

Flowchart drawn by Kate Holden in orange, aliases lines reads:
HOW TO BE ANARTIST.
Make some art.-> Does it look terrible? 1. YEAH 2. NO (both lives lead to thesame conclusion box) -> You are an artist -> Make more art
