🧠 Phase 3 MAVERICK results at #WCLC26 could change care for small cell #lungcancer. MRI surveillance alone protected cognitive outcomes vs adding preventive brain radiotherapy, with no significant diff in survival so far. If confirmed, this could spare some people with #SCLC unnecessary treatment.

At a median follow-up of 11.8 months (range, 1.1-21.9), median PFS and OS were 6.8 months (95% CI, 5.2-8.3) and 12.5 months (95% CI, 10.2-16.8), respectively... greater antitumor activity in participants [with previous] ICI and chemotherapy than what has been reported for paclitaxel or cetuximab.
