Might be crazy here, but if we ever got a modern 3D Castlevania game, I think I'd want it's gameplay loop to work pretty similarly to Control. Sprawling map with multiple distinct areas that you come back to over the course of the game. Whip that upgrades as you progress with subweapons, too.
