Thank you! I'm especially proud of him because he was adapted from this pattern - a friend wanted a badger holding a pint so I needed to find something that would work. I spent a lot of time googling "what do badgers' ears look like"

The temperature tree is nearing its halfway stage so I thought I'd better start work on the trunk and branches - I'm in love with how the chain stitch looks!

Embroidered tree with one leaf embroidered ever day of the year, each leaf is a different colour depending on the max temperature on that day. The current colour range is from pale blue to dark red. The tree is just under half completed and the trunk and branches have started to be worked in brown chain stitch.

Freehand embroidery with voided lettering - a retirement gift for a colleague! He taught me how to draft laws, and one of his mottos was this, i.e. if you mean the same thing, use the same word - don't try to make it read more interestingly!
