An explanation on why Big Walk isn't available on Xbox. bigwalk.game/xbox

Regarding Xbox

In June 2026 we announced that the release of Big Walk would be limited to computers, Switch 2 and PS5. Since then, we have received many messages and comments, asking about a future Xbox release. We would like to address those questions here:

We have made the decision not to release Big Walk on Xbox, in accordance with the Palestinian-led BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement’s call to boycott Microsoft, and their designation of Microsoft Games (and Xbox) as a priority boycott target. If you need help understanding our motives, we would recommend reading about why Microsoft is a BDS priority target, the successes this kind of pressure has already had on Microsoft, and especially, watching this great introductory piece by People Make Games.

It has always been our intention for Big Walk to be played by groups of friends, and we know that keeping the game off Xbox runs counter to those intentions. This decision means that some people will miss out on playing Big Walk with their friends, and we understand the disappointment we’re causing. We are disappointed too.

We would love for people to be able to play the game on Xbox, but not until Microsoft and/or Xbox have been removed as BDS boycott targets.

We’ve made this decision with the belief that meaningful change can be made in the world, that coordinated collective action can confront even the most powerful interests, and that one day, Palestine will be free.

I'm also a big fan of how much freedom you're given to just completely mess with intended classes. My Peter will eventually be turned back into an archer but he's spent nearly my entire Part 1 as a heavy. Yang Jie is an archer. Ultand is a heavy. Probably gonna turn Buccar into a mage soon.

Very funny how you can just stumble your way into terrible stat growths in fortunes weave. Everyone seems to love Guzran in Cai's route but he's slightly below average for me. My friends Peter ended his route with like 14 strength but my Peter is probably my best unit.

Ah I should've been more clear. It's part of an unofficial thematic trilogy akin to Edgar Wrights "End of the World" trilogy. So the movies are only held together because they share core themes and stories, all by the same creators. Starts with "your name." And then "Weathering with You".

This game was my first visual novel and it's a great entry point into the genre! A movie-length game that's very thoughtful in its exploration of class consciousness, AI, and free will. It's got a very clean presentation and wastes no time. At $3 it's a steal (and if you like it, there's a sequel)

Many don't make it. CoD and NBA2K aren't technically but release yearly so they are in practice anyway. It's strange. Maybe it's just the games I am aware of and I'm missing some, but 33 Immortals feels like a fun game that is okay with you putting it down when you're done. It's designed that way.
