Holy shit, that voice. Live singalongs must have been soul-cleansing in their catharsis. And the glossy, shimmering music brings to kind Soccer Mommy or Snail Mail, but without the lowkey, almost tentative, vocals that can (sometimes, rarely) be a turn off.

I knew Jon MacDonald back in school, grades five through twelve. He was a couple grades behind me, but we spent countless hours on the school bus together, playing street hockey, in school band, or playing video games. I’m so happy, and oddly proud, that he’s successfully making music as an adult.
