Once I watch enough Gundam and more older Magical Girl I can feel qualified to say how “Eva and PMMM are good because they’re subversions of the genre” are such dumb statements because they also feel like such fundamental misunderstandings of mecha and magical girl

It’s jarring to me being in fandom nsfw spaces for years that are so openly celebratory of trans bodies that this wave of newer fandom folks that are so openly weirded about trans feminine bodies specifically stand out so much, it’s tough not to get mega bummed about it

Ngl it’s extremely jarring working with so many people who are in their mid to late twenties / professionals and out of college for years come up to you and are like, yeah I have zero recollection if at all of this 9/11 you speak of

My favorite Kirk fun fact remains that the song was conceived only five days after it happened it just didn’t massively go viral until November

Sheik to me personally is the actually true case where any headcanon actually works , transfem Sheik, transmasc Sheik, nb Sheik, all feel very supported by every iteration that’s existed

Violet!! @sleepertimbre.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

All of this stems from the fact that like Ocarina of Time is like already THE most played Zelda of all time and already has a remake like I hateeeee remake culture man

I was like 13 when I first played Twilight Princess and even back then felt that it was always such a noticeably clunky and slower Zelda experience. Crazy that 20 years later in all my replays of it and the ways my tastes have changed…. I’m playing Dusklight rn and I still feel the exact same lol
