hmm i might need to just draw like, 8 really ugly pages to detangle this plot issue bc of this new character

000

at that awkward stage of #writing where I can clearly see what the first 3 pages should look like and how the last few pages should feel like but the middle is a hot tangled mess.

maybe the browser is translating it.. not sure but chrome does have inbuilt preferences to spanish for ENL kids

We are a little more than 20% funded for the SANGRYA playing card game! Would hugely appreciate a boost/some support in getting us to the first goal of $1,000 :-) www.kickstarter.com/projects/comica…

you can bring up stories about what happened at work or mention parallels from previously read books or tv shows yall watched

you don't just read the book, you also pause and give your opinion or ask the kid how the characters feel or what they might do. you can point out that something is super funny.

maintaining an open line of communication also requires constant practice. they won't know how to share big things with you without the experience of sharing a lot of little things

I'm very pro read-to-your-kid even if i struggle w it because my own parents couldn't see the point of studying english so close to bedtime lmao but no srsly it is also a great way to stay talking w your kid.

160

you see i have become the master of clapbacks and sick burns with teenagers. they respect that.

note to self, write in a celebrity witch in vol 3, make all the elves think every girl is that celebrity witch lmao

these white folks never get any updates. they're permanently stuck in 1945.

well it was very easy to control that kid for the rest of the period at least, because I told him I'm ready to get him a detention for that lmao

140

all that kpop and what did it get me??? Nobody has asked me if I'm related to BTS, chungha, or stray kids instead lmao

lol had a white boy ask me if i was related to the asian dictator with the same last name. so yes, that's still happening in the year 2026.

how will you know your kid is reading at a below grade level if you never spend any time reading with them

020

i just feel it is extremely important to pay full attention to what your kid can do and can't do so you can anticipate when they'll need your support??
