for the #TrueRefDT017 drawing challenge, the infamous Frieren head angle! idk why Usagi popped into my head, but I really like how this turned out!

a digital drawing of Usagi from Sailor Moon, looking up into a starry night sky.

a photograph of a blonde woman looking up, shot from a slight low angle.

Dang yall, thanks so much for the support 😭 Usually I ignore the random AI accusations but I wanted to take the chance to talk about how important it is to do your research in times like these. Didn't expect to get soooo many kind comments though! We gotta stick together, my beloved art community ♥️

i am so beyond thrilled to launch my new webcomic: PRAYERS TO THE FUTURE! it's a muslim-themed post-apocalyptic adventure about coming together to breathe life into a struggling world. the first update is now live at prayerstothefuture.com - the comic is free to read + updates every monday. ENJOY 🧿

an illustration for the launch of my (iasmin omar ata) new webcomic PRAYERS TO THE FUTURE. the main character, irfan, poses with an obsidian sword. the rest of the comics cast (a mystery for now!) is depicted in various shapes behind her. the title of the comic is written outside of a circle behind irfan, with "by iasmin omar ata" written on the underside of the circle. within the circle, a post-apocalyptic desert is shown, with a tall obisidan obelisk at the center and a giant crystal floating atop it.

If rapists actually faced consequences for their actions we wouldn’t have nearly as many rapists. In reality many rapists actually benefit from their actions

i should clarify, when i write people doing bad things, it's because i am bad. they are me. more importantly, when you read about those bad things, they also become you. that's how story works. in fact, you are going to think about murder before this skeet ends. how's that feel, sicko.

stolas's fluffy pits rt if you agree

a hips-up piece of stolas laying on a lavender background that vaguely resembles bedsheets. he has his arms above his head, his forearms resting on and pushing down his crest, thus showing off his fluffy armpits and pushing his chest feathers forward. he has a light blush on his cheeks and a relaxed, enticing expression on his face.

i worry that men think being A Good Guy is dramatically and heroically intervening on behalf of an endangered woman and then being publicly rewarded on a grand scale when actually being A Good Guy is just usually saying, “hey man that’s not funny” or “wow that’s fucked up” and there is no reward

Remember that episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer that aired in 1997 where Buffy and Cordelia are invited to a frat party only it turns out that the frat boys worship a penis-shaped demon and offer it a sacrifice of girls to rape every year so that the penis demon blesses them with money and power?
Anyway, that episode came out almost 30 years ago.

you knew that answer was coming, stolas. you can't be upset. // #stolitz

a three-panel comic of stolas and blitz in bed

panel 1 - top down view of stolas, looking sheepishly offscreen to blitz. he is fidgeting his hands as he says "blitz, darling... would you still love me if i were a horse?"

panel 2 - side view of blitz laying down, his hands behind his head, his torso partially covered by the blanket. he has a happy expression and a smile as he replies "fuck yeah, stols. i'd probably love you more!"

panel 3 - same view of blitz, eyes closed & with a dreamy smile. he is slightly out of focus now as stolas sits up to look at blitz silently with a confused cringe on his face. blitz is unaware as he happily daydreams about riding stolhorse bareback (sfw).
