Today is the birthday of Trina Robbins (Aug. 17, 1938-April 10, 2024.) A writer, artist, editor, & historian, she cocreated Vampirella & helped found Wimmen’s Comix, an anthology that showcased female creators. She also worked on Wonder Woman & wrote several books on women in the comics industry.

Four books she worked on: It Aint Me Babe (1970), A Century of Women Cartoonists (1993), Flapper Queens (2020), and The Legend of Wonder Woman (1986).

Dear #PortfolioDay. How do you do? *bows* My name is Chris and I work as a comic artist and illustrator based in The Netherlands. If you will please allow me to present to you (some of) the latest fruits of my most artful pursuits?

I used to draw a lot more realistic and stylized but kept getting work for cute and cartoony design, which I'm very happy with.. But every now and then I still like to do one of these :)
