My partner and the kids found a giant trove of halloween costumes at my partner's mom's home. Relatedly, the one time I got really high in front of the kids (Dec 25) I ended up thinking the four-year-old was channeling some ancient, vengeful god. Never again. Shit gets too weird

Yup, that was a Zach Cregger movie. Parts of it worked for me. Parts *really* didn't. I wish the characters had acted less stupidly. I admired the ambition and preferred it to a more consistent but also more generic horror movie. This has been a review of Barbarian, Weapons and Resident Evil.
