Question for anyone there at the time, were the Mew glitch and Missingno. things kids knew about at the time Pokemon Gen 1 was new? Or were those discovered after the fact? I'm considering an experiment of attempting to recreate the Gen 1 experience as closely as possible.

While it may seem unnecessary to many of you, today seems like a good day to remind everyone that Trans Rights Are Human Rights and the trans community will always have my axe.

Everyday I live in hope that I'll find an @externallydead.bsky.social Scratch plushie for sale somewhere. Through shitty friend shenanigans I never actually Got the one I ordered back in the day and my life has been thoroughly joyless since then.

I'm gonna try to watch every Spider-Man movie by the end of the year, I've got SM3, The Amazing films and the MCU ones. Plus obviously rewatches of Spiderverse.

I'm not sure if mine has Audio Out, but if it does I'd love to get some speakers for it to get some Stereo sound going. But it works and does what I need it to do, so I'm happy with it.

Not my picture, but the same model. Got it for free after my great uncle passed, it works really well but does have problems, notably the sound being mono only and the fact it only has one AV and one SCART port, so swapping consoles is a hassle. Especially for the SCART since it's on the back.

Sitting in a diner sandwiched between a guy who’s using Chat GPT on his laptop & a girl looking at AI memes on her phone and thinking about the person who told me that they use CGPT to manage their day to day life all I can think of is how convenience consistently overrides common sense for so many.

I think my favorite gag in portal isn't any particular joke or bit. It's the continued treatment of "testing" as some vague, ephemeral idea. What are they testing exactly? Who knows. Who cares. You're testing. Do the test. Aperture needs to keep testing.

In Paper Mario, Mayor Penguin is found seemingly dead, with Mario being suspected of his murder. However, if a letter is delivered to him during that time, he will get up, thank Mario, and promptly go back to being dead. Unfortunately, this cannot prove Mario's innocence.

My personal cutoff for retro is "does it have paid online and a way to download small games via a built in shop." Wii is on the knifes edge, but I find it splits everything else relatively effectively.

sketched a bunch more classic sonic fan designs to properly draw later. surge, tangle, whisper, super mecha sonic concept designs; lanolin, mecha knuckles, pachacamac, mecha sonic mkIII, chaos 0, e-102 gamma, tikal designs; meteoric metal sonic from 35th anniversary comic

a bunch of roughly drawn sketches with flat colours. as described in the post, it's a line of takes on concept art designs of surge the tenrec; the rabbit version of tangle; lanolin; three designs from whisper's concept arts; meteoric metal sonic from the sonic 35th anniversary; mecha knuckles from sonic advance; pachacamac and mecha sonic mk III from sonic adventure; super mecha sonic from sketches for sonic 3; chaos, gamma, and tikal from sonic adventure. all of them have varying levels of design alterations, being based on simplyifying the modern designs or basing it on concept art or on storyboards

I don't know if they just microscopically changed the sensitivity, or if it's the lack of notches, but I'm having a lot more trouble with SA2 Dreamcast then I do with the GameCube version, can any experts on the game weigh in on if there's control differences?
