I love gay halloween bc what do you mean I went as ✨ my family's history of abuse personified by a sadistic Broadway casting director ✨ Miranda "Clare" Peters: before, during, and after Monstrosity by Sinking Ship Creations #larp #larping #larper #larpers

Amber poses as their character Clare Peters from the larp Monstrosity. Clare wears a black knee-length wiggle dress with a keyhole opening that reveals a large swath of her white strappy bra underneath. Clare makes direct eye contact with the camera, her tousled chestnut hair pulled back in a bun. Her left hand rests on her hip while her right hand is posed inquisitively on her face.

Amber poses as Clare Peters from the larp Monstrosity. She wears a long seafoam tulle gown, a simple black slip dress that exposes the top of her cleavage, and a pearl necklace. Her warm chestnut hair is pulled back in a "messy" low bun. Her pose is confident, alluring, with her leg extended as an invitation to look, but not touch.

Amber poses as Miranda "Clare" Peters after the larp Monstrosity. She wears only a simple black shift dress, standing barefoot on the tile. Her shoulder-length chestnut hair is tousled and bruises litter her body.

She did not survive the night.

ironic that this is coming up while I: 1 - had a huge breakthrough yesterday during therapy that, no, I shouldn't blame myself for other people choosing to project insecurities on me through manipulation (or like my dad, withholding medical care & threatening abandonment) 2 - am literally packing

sometimes to motivate yourself into packing for conventions, you have to text the cute vtm writer you've been casually seeing for a few weeks and tell him "I am not allowed to flirt with you until I pack for Intercon" I mean I'm still in bed procrastinating, but that's the First Step, at least

it truly truly isn't but it does get a tiny bit easier every time. I was able to go to a friend last week and adjust my boundary on something between our characters and he was just...so chill with it. Asking for what you need is Good, Actually

me, two months ago: yeah I really need to learn how to draw better boundaries so I don't end up in a similar situation as I was with Drew me, a month ago: AAAAAAAAH I GOTTA DRAW BETTER BOUNDARIES NOW DO NOT CROSS me now: wow this sucks a lot but at least I didn't choose to go scorched earth??

Social anxiety: Your Uranus in Capricorn transforms your unshakeable self-control into a special power. Right now, you're unable to make use of your common sense which prevents you from making friends who challenge you. Everyone alive has the chance to start again. But scorching the earth is a foolish strategy. You are not an enemy, but a friend, who has some things worth saving.

every day I log onto costar for a little nudge from the universe that I'm on the right track in this "healing from a year and a half of emotional abuse from my ex partner" journey and every day costar kicks me directly in the solar plexus. just absolutely boots me into the goddamn pit.

A screenshot from Amber's Costar app that reads: "Masking your suffering won't diminish it. You're becoming increasingly aware of your need to feel needed. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's not helping you grow. What are you afraid might happen if you acted more selfishly?"
