Have unearthed my Nanna's WI cookbook from 1974. It has everything you might expect. Surprise raisins! Parsley everywhere! Copious jelly (no aspic, thankfully). A quarter pint of red wine in the syllabub. 'Oriental' dishes where garlic was the special spice. It's got it all.

I can understand some parents don't want to 'label' their kid - mostly because words like 'autistic' aren't as morally neutral as they should be, so they fear social backlash or a life of chronic underestimating for their kid. I get it. But words only *become* neutral by using them as such.

Oof. HRT is going to be difficult. I get CSF leaks and rebound highs, and spent the last few weeks battling the worst attack I've had in some time soon after starting it. People with IIH have excess estradiol in their blood but a causative link has never been proven. But I think it must be the case.

Made a pinhole projector. Turns out, no pins. Couldn't get a clear enough small hole in cardboard or foil. Neighbour has instead drilled me a smol hole in a tiny piece of brass, which I have sticky-taped to some cardboard. We're very high tech over here!
