I was what I considered “reasonably healthy.” In my early 20’s I’d go to the gym for maintenance, but not to lose weight. Just maintain where I was and get a lil stronger. Now at over 30, the game is different but I’m just trying to bring back the healthy honors I had 10+ years ago.

As I venture into my healthy lifestyle the internet is only mildly helpful. Half of these fitness and health influencers have body dysmorphia and eating disorders. The only thing I’m looking to them for is high protein suggestions & that’s it.

Someone tried to tell me I was wrong on IG bc I said filters that lighten your skin and change your nose/face shape are racist and colorist. Then when I provided receipts on actual studies that have been done he told me I had a “handicap mindset” because I’m always talking about race.
