Made very few changes to the latest build and was thinking maybe I'll be able to ship this one without incrementing the shame version (last number in a version number) and 2 minutes into testing, it's already getting bumped.

A graphic showing "Pride Versioning" where the first number is the Proud Version. Then second is the Default Version. And the last number is the Shame Version.

Made a quick utility to auto-generate a rope tightly wrapped around arbitrary geometry. Supports odd shapes and multiple objects. Had the idea for this simple algorithm while taking a walk, and it worked a lot better than expected.🪢 #GodotEngine #gamedev #indiedev

I actually think it’s the opposite. The barrier to entry has never been lower. Free tools like Krita, Blender, Godot, etc., plus platforms like itch and Steam make it easier than ever for indies to create and share games. Success is still hard, but getting started is way more accessible now.
