This is the funniest thing I've seen today, possibly ever
A tweet by SarahStarberry that says "oh god read the vertical axis" on top of a chart measuring AI models' release dates and model numbers rather than any real capabilities

Since I got back from holiday last month I’ve had a persistent ear infection that’s causing a lot of discomfort, not to mention very loud tinnitus. The GP has done what they can, and I’m fortunate to have seen an ENT doctor who has identified nasal polyps (almost certainly linked to the problem).

My daughter is out on Thursdays until 9pm so I’m on strict #Traitors curfew until she’s back and we watch on catch up.

I wasn’t rooting for Leeds to win this but now I hope they score again and push Newcastle below us in the table.

Nice assist from Morato in that West Ham goal. Happy for him. Also I missed that Joe Worrall moved to Wrexham. Thought he was at Burnley? #nffc

I never felt close my Jewish family but since building my family tree on Ancestry and discovering that my great-grandparents were Hyman and Fanny I can’t think about much else.

Like many of you, I remember 9/11 as it happened. I was at work where we had a lot of TVs all tuned to the news, and our new boss was based in NYC so there was extra worry. We know so much about that day now but at the time it was just all so confusing and surreal.

Disappointing not to get 3 points today. The kids and I are going to the Coventry game in 2 weeks’ time so that’ll surely bring the team a much needed boost and a win at home for the first time in ages. #coyr #nffc

One of my mum’s oldest friends died recently. Sadly mum’s dementia has caused so much confusion she’s seemingly indifferent which is really hard to witness. Mum isn’t really mum anymore.. she’s become a bitter, resentful person and I’m at a bit of a loss about how to deal with that.

Jolene is so deeply rooted in my mind today. What a brilliant song. The guitar lick is a thing of beauty and those harmonies are sublime. I feel more sad about Dolly today - just thinking about what a decent human being she was in a world full of egotists.

Almost didn’t recognise myself in the photo Irene took of me earlier. We visited Noto in southern Sicily and then popped in to Syracuse on the way home to Mascalucia. I’m now driving like a local.. roundabouts are just a suggestion to Italian drivers.

We’re on Day 4 of our Sicilian adventure. We’ve run the local supermarket dry on Prosecco so may need to go further afield for supplies. Love an afternoon wine-induced nap by the pool.

RIP Jason Arday, 1985-2026. He has been found dead shortly after his resignation as a University of Cambridge professor, after scrutiny of academic standards & his biographical exaggerations made him the central character in an ongoing national media frenzy www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Jason Arday: Former Cambridge university professor found dead
His family said it was "in shock to have lost this amazing father, partner, brother, uncle and son" after the academic was found dead in London on Friday.

We had an excellent night at the WFCG last night. Only 11k fans so the atmosphere was a little different but it was a great crowd and we won 2-1 against Bayer Leverkusen. I hope that won’t be our first and last trip to see #nffc this year - tickets are so hard to get.

I’ve watched two All-Ireland finals in the last two weeks and the teams I was hoping would win have won both. Mayo Men last week and Galway Women today. Also I love that the winning captains give a speech after lifting the cup.

Is it just me that sees an offer for something cheap online but at the checkout it’s almost another 50% on top for postage. It puts me off even though if they charged 50% more in the first place and had free postage I’d probably buy it.

I’ve been away camping in the Cotswolds with my kids since Sunday. I think this is officially the hottest, driest camping holiday we’ve ever had. Also had the most expensive pub meal ever. Burgers at the Farmers Dog yesterday were an absolute bargain in comparison.
