Wolverine seems like the type of game I'd rent from Blockbuster and be stoked on for like five years until it's cheap enough to buy and then have good memories of it forever turning me into a bigger Playstation fan. A lot of ppl who enjoyed our Bulk Slash project missed this one, but it greatly benefitted from all we learned on the former. SASS is, if not the Saturn's *best* 3D game, certainly its *most* 3D game. And @silos.bsky.social 's Mission Stick implementation makes it the best Mission Stick game imo.

Obviously no other boomer shooter looks like this, but the game feels pretty unique as well. At least in the demo, rooms are pretty small and cramped, but you're still trying to fly around while visual sensory overload happens around you. It's really fun. I'm glad it's landing so far.

24 years ago today Eyedea & Abilities released "First Born". If you played Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 you might remember "Big Shots" from this album being on the soundtrack. I get why, but losing "greatest hits" and equivalents sucks. Demon's Souls and Ratchet: Crack In Time were $30 permanently a year after launch, now Demon's Souls PS5 and Ratchet Rift Apart are still $90 3.5 years later.

Took me way too long to get around to finishing Bomb Rush Cyberfunk but I really enjoyed it. Even if fighting was the weakest part, broke up the platforming enough and was always in short bursts.

The worst part of Starcraft 2 so far is the amount of quitters. I can't rank down to people of my level because I'll run into a string of people trying to tank their account to lower divisions by quitting immediately and I'll rank right back up just to get decimated again.

Played my first six games of Starcraft 2 and walked away with a 50% win rate which sounds alright but one quit immediately seeing it would be zerg vs zerg, and the other two were from people quitting out of the game after I sent "gg" and was about to quit myself.
