I normally don’t love Platinums that force you to replay the entire game on a higher difficulty *but* Pragmata’s Lunatic mode was very satisfying; really pushed my knowledge of the game’s hacking and movement mechanics to a challenging flow state that I took great pleasure in.

Welp. Starting in November, I will no longer be employed by IGN. It's been a hell of a ride and I cannot understate how much of an honor and a privilege the last 11+ years have been. This was a dream job, but the best part of IGN is, was, and always will be the people.

Really good throwback to the PS3/360-era of single-player action-adventure games; its story feels maybe a bit to basic in parts but is successful in delivering the *feels*, which is most important. Shoutout to my local library for having this one in stock!

Lost Legacy was the last Uncharted game I had not yet played, and overall I enjoyed my time with it quite a bit; its campaign serves up a greatest hits record of the series’ best setpieces, but with a modern coat of polish that some of the older titles lacked. Easily my favorite (1/5)

While I find the discourse over this scent-tracking sequence in particular to be overblown, the overall conversation surrounding this game reminds me a lot discourse that surrounded Twilight Princess (and other, similar games to it) circa 2006; it feels like there's just a real malaise with (1/2)

The TOS being so strict that they control you offsite is the problem; sites like Patreon and Kofi have offsite clauses too. The social criminalization of the suggestion that somewhere you might be doing nsfw is a problem. It's branding a person as obscene and we need consumers to stand up for us

I’ve had this one on my backlog for a while now, and it did not disappoint; a really, really wonderful pixel-art adventure game published by Toge productions (of Coffee Talk fame) that I highly recommend if you’re looking for a top-tier (and very melancholic) coming-of-age story with great puzzles

Jedi Survivor features some truly resplendent, heart-tugging sequences - especially in its final act - but the process of getting to these sequences is often winding and boring; I was immensely satisfied with where the game ended things story-wise, but the path to get to that point left a lot (1/2)
