An AI framework reduced CAR T target discovery to less than a few weeks and identified GPNMB as its top candidate. A CAR T built against it showed robust tumor-killing in mouse models of several cancers. doi.org/hb8p2j

Our (European Renal Association AKI Working Group) comment on the DEFENDER RCT: academic.oup.com/ndt/advance-... SGLT2 inhibitors in critically ill patients are safe but do not reduce mortality or length of stay in the hospital. RCTs testing SGLT2i for AKI prevention and treatment are needed.
