Thanks for the screenshot and the record link! That warning was wrong: the import only replaces your profile entries on Sifa ID and never touches your blog posts (we don't have the permission to do so). Warning should be fixed, safe to run the import. Lmk if anything still looks off.

Talk sessions now take a month or just a year. Courses now cover the ones you taught as well as the ones you took.

Preprints now listed under their published version. Sifa reads the links DataCite and Crossref already, so your ORCID imports need nothing from you: Zenodo, bioRxiv and arXiv preprints sit under their articles, BIDS spec releases under the newest.

most of what you flagged is live now: Long author lists show the first 10 names plus "and N more", with your name always visible. "Link company" in the inbox now opens that position's editor.

I have 2 questions back: 1. Contributor roles: your OWN role on a project, roles for the OTHER people (owner, core team, contributor already exist), or CRediT-style? 2. Where do you see both involvement and volunteering? Your profile only shows Involvement, with Volunteering as a type inside it.

A separate section for research artifacts like software and datasets is on the bigger academic roadmap (github.com/singi-labs/s...). Until then you can set a publication's type to Software or Dataset, like your BIDS entry.

Projects already have a URL field (it shows as a link in the project header). Logos aren't there yet. Are these more like icons or bigger images? What would you expect for these?

Added to my todo: linking a preprint to its published version, month-and-year dates for talk sessions, and expanding the Courses section to support courses you taught, not just courses you took, I think that would be a good solution? One-off guest lectures already fit in Talks & sessions.

To prevent this in the future, I'm going to deploy a fix where if you are trying to create an org with a domain name that equals the handle that you are already logged in with that it is always approved (since your handle is proof enough). Thx for reporting and making this easier for future users!

Jup, this is because on your site we run into a (self-hosted?) anti-bot/WAF wall, it throws a 503 when Sifa checks. To unblock you right away I minted the jk.phtos entity, so you can add it to your profile right now

Ah, the https:// two-step 🤦 Fixed that as well: a bare microcosm.blue registers as a domain on its own, no prefix. The bare version was catching a wrong name match and hiding the 'Add' row, so the scheme 'worked' by accident.... thx again for flagging!

Also tightened the matching so fewer wrong companies show up, and the /claim picker got the same fix. One remaining gap: a company only appears in search once someone adds it that way (or it claims its own profile), so a bare name won't surface yet. Filed an issue for that for later

Just shipped: the "how to add one" link stops vanishing when results show, and now tells you the trick. For microcosm, clear the name and type microcosm.blue in the field, then pick "Add microcosm.blue" and it builds the page from the site and links it.

What happened: copying records to a fresh DID means our indexer never saw the writes, so nothing kicked off a re-scan. No self-serve re-read button yet, apparently something to build.... 😅 Feel free to shout if anything's still missing!

Open Source Contributors Visibility! On your profile, go to Involvements > Open Source > Add. Then link your involvement to the company (like @npmx.dev in the below example) and you will also automagically show up there as a contributor

I created another atproto thing! This time, it's a resume generator that uses your @sifa.id records as the primary source. It uses @typst.app to compile the results into your resume PDF. It can also generate cover letters, as well! github.com/bljohnsondev/resume-typst
