Ok he’s awake. Got us tickets to Erasure in Dublin in May. Missed Andy Bell’s solo tour last year so I knew he’d be excited for this. ☺️ (As much as I love them, I think they’re ambitious booking the 3 Arena! 😅) (Also, I really hate it when bands announce tours for albums that aren’t out yet.)

I switched back to iOS last week and while I’m generally happier I do miss my minimal Home Screen from Android (Niagara launcher and Kwidget). Working on it using Widgey and Home Assistant. The text is dynamic based on various sensors and helpers, it’s not live but updates throughout the day.

My iPhone Home Screen. The background is overlapping waves in shades of orange at the top and green at the bottom. It features a large widget with the weather, time and date in a rectangle at the top, and some text below which reads “Evening, Brad. Rob is at work. Dryer needs emptying. Water the plants!” All the text is white. There is space below for some more fun stuff I plan to add later. The only app icons are in the dock. I’m using the transparent theme so the icons look white.

If you're watching what you eat and working out, it's almost certainly muscle not fat. My husband has something similar, been going to gym but not lost weight, but can get into clothes that didn't fit him before.

My parents have gone home! They arrived mid-July, it's been a looooong 8 weeks or so. Gonna spend an hour putting the house right and then spend the rest of the day just enjoying having the place to ourselves again. ☺️

I have a plan to build a day state machine to use as a condition to determine what happens with lights etc. Morning, Daytime, Evening, Night. The house will automatically apply different settings based on various things such as the first time we open the bedroom door in the morning.

I booked the rest of this week off work, felt like I needed a break. Not much planned, my parents are here until tomorrow so this is my last full day with them, and then we have a few days without them to decompress and relax. Gonna spend today catching up on Silo and messing with Home Assistant.
