I think I should rewrite it from scratch, though. the codebase is a bit messy and it's still running on Node 16 and old MapLibre v2. but I'm happy I made what I wanted for years

I was just tweaking an existing repo, but it ended up growing into a different map app 😅 OSM has the granular data needed, but the downside is that OSM cycleway data varies a lot depending on the region, and it feels like Japanese Wikipedia

before that, my first app using Protomaps + MapLibre was Japan Safe Cycling Map (japan-safe-cycling-map.shuuji3.xyz) which I built based on the github.com/jakecoppinge... earlier this month.

I really like protomaps and pmtiles because of their elegant design. they can serve an entire map with only a client web app and cloud storage, no backend is required and it's archivable

I finally bought a secondhand GoPro Max and took many 360° photos during my trip. I also just wrote a minimal static photosphere viewer with Photo Sphere Viewer, @maplibre.org, and @protomaps.com to share with my family: github.com/shuuji3/phot...

finally automated unlocking without touching my phone. the matter integration of sesame lock was too unstable, so I had to flash an ESP32 firmware someone open-sourced to send unlock events 🥲

here's the workflow file 🙂 github.com/shuuji3/www/... after setting up ssh key, you can sync by only three lines of git commands. I recommend generating a new ssh key for the sync. you can register it to the github repository secret and the tangled setting (tangled.org/settings/keys)
