B&Q didn't have the right trucks for an 8 foot by 3 foot piece of board. So I've problem solved the wrong type of trolley. Don't think the young lad I nicked the pen off expected not to get it back.

The original Bubo from the Harryhausen exhibition a few years back. Even as a fan there were so many things there that I'd never seen or heard of before. Him and Postgate/Firmin. Proper genius.

Are you in Whitby? we stopped just out of town and walked past that sign every day. If so, The Passage to India restaurant at the bottom of the road facing the station is absolutely lovely. 2 minutes walk that you won't regret at all 😀

Brindle greyhound (Mavis) leaping over a large puddle in a grassy field she's fully in the air with spray kicked up by her back legs. White greyhound (Bertie) is cornering slightly less tightly trying to keep up with Mavis. You can see his reflection in the puddle.

#SundayPixSport WFL: Man C v Man U at Old Trafford in April. This is rather Cartier-Bresson the decisive moment where a header becomes a goal. (Pure luck I got the ball bang on going over the line)

Ladies football game. Man C, blue team attacking Man U (reds) Goal. The ball is visible between the Man U keepers outstretched arms just as it is passing over the line for a City goal.

The Kelpies near Falkirk. Fabulous piece of Art representing the role of horses in the heavy industry of Scotland, but the Kelpies of myth were shape shifting water dwellers who would entice folk onto their backs and carry them off under the water and drown them.

#Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. Wings and knobs

Former Bishop of Liverpool late 1800's. at his repose,with a magnificent beard, being watched over, and you can't see them but having his head enveloped in the wings of an angel.

Some of the Organ effect knobs on one of 2 keyboards for use in the Cathedral. How I don't know but apparently this one can be moved about as needed.

More wings on a memorial. Small child sitting between the talons of a rather perturbed looking eagle looming above it, with wings outstretched

This is at the feet of the memorial to the Earl of Derby. Not sure if the eagle is feeling protective or hungry.

#Southport Botanical Gardens. A weekend away with Mrs SB as we've been married for 35 years on Monday, but I'm in work then so we've done the bank holiday back to front.

A friendly little green cheeked parakeet that came over to say hello to me. Sadly behind rather excessively secure green fencing.
