I teach 400 1st-yr #HigherEd students Community at this scale doesn’t just happen: it needs resourcing Next year, I lose access to the tools I use to do this, unless I pay for them myself So these small acts of community building may be some of my last I present: collaborative drawing.

Dear #HigherEd instructors, Opening your course website before classes start is a great way to help students prepare If you use CourseLink, overriding the default access date is as simple as a quick email I opened mine on Sept 3, and so far, 247 out of 400 students in my course have logged in 🍎
