This looks like a clip art shirt I'd find in the depths of Amazon, but at least not slop yet I guess.

My therapist: So who are you playing this roleplaying game with? Me, through mild vax reaction brain fog: [The premise of the role playing game culminating in explaining one other player character.]

Oof, yeah, if it's gonna be like that they could at least make it rotation battles so it goes a little faster.

They also make up for it by forcing Theodora to deliver a lot more and a lot more often. So in the context of the rewards they get for their paths, they both meet the needs.

Professor Alex @shiningcrobat.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I would say slightly? Cai gets a lot of control; he can plant whatever really close. Theodora may have to travel farther, but she doesn't have to follow up personally.

I was like, hm, why is Juni also on Telegram? Then I remembered that likely the only reason this Telegram group isn't a Discord server is so the furries can have their stickers.

Do you have settings to not be discovered at all or something? Because I do appreciate that people who have my phone number already can find me.

I've never been as bombarded by bots as on Telegram. Well, except perhaps over my telephone.

Hadn't really considered PoGo's 10th anniversary. I will pop it open once every couple months now. But that's a third of Pokémon's existence. It seems to have become a durable pillar of the franchise.

Gym kicked my ass more than normal today, but I was also masking and trying to skedaddle because they were replacing the AC.

FE:FW great, smaller highs & lows than 3H. Always love playing Sagrada. The AI Doc was a mental journey I already took. Batman gr9, love new Harley. The Dropout was enlightening. X-Men kinda a slog, but some fun. Had new CRJ, Stalter, and Slow Pulp on rotation. Glad stuff from last month appears.

And at least they papered over the most egregious sin of repeating the full first half of the game by funneling everyone into a shared story and making the first part different for everyone. Repeating paralogues still seems a little silly.

Almost done with 2 Part 1 routes of Fortune's Weave and let myself to peek at the metacritic score. Funny that it's exactly the same as Three Houses because it has similar highs and lows, but tempered. Still kinda easy at launch, a little too much to do, but wonderful worldbuilding and characters.

Well, with Gumshoes & Dragons ending I have space for a new actual play... that is mostly improv comedy. (I have a headier AP waiting in the wings for the season to be over so I can binge/understand it.)

Professor Alex @shiningcrobat.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Yeah, most of the challenge for me so far has been tackling skirmishes ~7-10 levels higher than me. But dungeoneering is more effective grinding than that. 🤔 Do I dare replay this when Maddening inevitably drops?

It's not that dissimilar from Scarlet/Violet at the end of the day. They both have a lot of explicit structure around different main story bits and bundle all those things into badge equivalents. SV is just 'open' and has traditional gyms as part of that.

It doesn't even take a lot of active curation; I just unfollow, mute, block, and follow as I go along. My feed is mostly people talking about various media of art and a little bit complaining about the constant stream of bullshit, as we are all wont to do.

020

Professor Alex @shiningcrobat.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I do find it funny when people complain about their feed here being bad because, well, no one should be using the recommendation feed that I can't remember the name of. And if your following feed is fucked, that's really on you. There aren't even inserted ads here.
