Hey so Roll literally just completed a commission for me and did a wonderful job. Could you all do me a favor and support this super creative and hard working individual by either supporting financially or by reposting Roll's post to raise awareness? I'd greatly appreciate it!

“But it doesn’t use as much water as people think it does!” But it still means more data centers raising electricity prices, lowering water pressure, disrupting ecosystems, constant noise in poor neighborhoods. It still stole from thousands of artists. It’s still being developed by the worst people.

A week of temperatures, all over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Hey BlueSky friends! While I am honored to receive any sort of invitation to try out a game/demo, I have no interest in playing any game/demo that uses AI generated content at any stage of development. I can not and do not endorse or support the use of stolen/uncredited content. Support artists!

I suspect that every company has similar books when it comes to AI. The costs of such systems are far larger than most realize, and that's before factoring in costs that are not strictly monetary.

It's wild how many people, including myself, warned about exactly this situation and were dismissed. The number one rule when listening to both business executives and politicians should be to treat everything they say with skepticism.

Artists are allowed to make fucked up upsetting art. You are allowed to block them if it bothers or triggers you. You are not allowed to demand that transgressive art never exist. Especially when the artists are marginalized or queer and already have society trying to erase them.

It's always tough to lose a close game this way, but any team or fanbase arrogant enough to call themselves "America's Team" despite accomplishing virtually nothing in 30+ years gets no sympathy from me.

ShenzoTheLost @shenzothelost.com · 28/09/2026

Had you and the rest of the access journalists not chosen to sanewashed & normalized his worst qualities and positions at literally any time in the last eleven years, perhaps all of this could have been avoided. Alas, you chose to do exactly that - to the detriment of both journalism & the country.

000

ShenzoTheLost @shenzothelost.com · 28/09/2026

I mean this as respectfully as possible, but you should really sit this one out bud. People like you, who for over a decade prioritized access above accurately covering the man & his insanity, are one of the many reasons why that orange idiot believes he's immune from any consequences.

The "creatives" who use genAI at any part of their process need to understand I'm not desperate for new media. There is such a backlog of arts, movies, books, and games WITHOUT genAI that if nothing new was made again, I'd still need a hundred lifetimes to consume even a fraction of it.

Just wrapped up Wolverine, and I must say I really enjoyed it. A very different approach to the Wolverine story, but one that I feel ultimately works very well. The game is much better now that it's been patched, but still a bit buggy. I'd give it a 8/10, maybe a 9 if they can get the bugs fixed.

I tried to be very open-minded when Clancy took over, but man it's hard to be optimistic when you look at how Twitch has handled basically any problem since that time.

000

ShenzoTheLost @shenzothelost.com · 24/09/2026

I swear Twitch leadership is the most incompetent group of executives I've ever seen, and I once worked for a company that decided to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars they didn't have into getting their name on an arena soccer stadium for no other reason than to ensure a rival company didn't.
