Last day of #folktember2026 🥳 This great being is named Trǫll by the village, as they do not know exactly what it is nor it's purpose here. Yet, it is not aggressive towards the villagers, so they let it be. Although, sometimes it'll inadvertently block the path through the woods. 🌳🍁

Tall trees populate these darkening woods, though it does not seem to scare the young traveller who has decided to walk the trodden path through the woods.
A great beast lies atop the traveller's trail. Politely, the traveller is asking it to shift over a bit.
The sleepy beast regards them with one giant looming eye, two smaller eyes on each side of a large head, horns curling magestically above it. It's long muzzle smelling the traveller as they walk past.
Long fluffy ears flick, listening, the jingling of its earrings a faint sound.
Front paws with long talons block the way, as the rest of its cloven body disappears into ththe darkness of the woods.

Prompt number 6, Witch's Cottge. #folktember2026 What better way to travel than via giant snail? This witch, definitely a maximalist! 🐌

A giant snail with a shell covered by a thatched roof.
On it, several windows of different shapes and sizes. Different styles of bunting and even a washing line hung between 2 windows.
The snail wears some kind of armour and a set of reins hangs from them. There is also a wind chime, a balcony and a weather vane. A very busy looking snail!

#folktember2026 Prompt 5, 'Naiad' I've named her Gemynd, it means memory. As pearls of thought drop like wishes into the waters, she keeps them safe until the creator returns for them at the end of their life. So that they may dwell on the life they had, or else, start again.

An aquatic creature with large dark eyes, long thin arms outstretched to catch a falling pearl.
2 tusk like extensions from her face and a trail of spiked fins grace her head and down her back.
On her hips, out flows the top part of a jellyfish, from underneath out comes a strong tail, with a hooked barb on the end.
In her other hand, she holdholds another barb, fashioned into a mysterious large needle-like tool.

#Folktember2026 This kind of sacred landmark is for those who are grieving. Not just about their lost ones, but for the end of times. Come to the Mourner on the Hill when you wish to be guided through grief; leave a candle, throw a treasured possession into the water, turn away and don't look back.

It's #folktember2026 prompt 3, 'Fire Serpent' 🔥🐍 This piece is inspired by Loki and the idea that he is the fire that lights when lightnings hits a tree. 🌳

I'm taking part in #folktember2026 and the first prompt is 'Forest Sprite'! 🧚 This creature, I named Blēaþe Grīma 🍁 (Full story in Alt text)

This sprite holds a 7 pointed leaf to her face, eyes poking through.
An awkwardly shaped body serpentine in nature with a poofy tipped tail.
A skirt made of leaves, a necklace made of seeds and a hagstone pendant in one of her for hands.
She has 3 sets of transparent wings.
Her eyes slitted like a snake, dark in colour, though her posture lacks confidence.

Blēaþe Grīma's story:

This variety of forest sprite, no larger than a grapefruit, is very timid, giving her the name 'Timid Mask'.
She will muster a lot of courage to emerge out of her hiding place at dusk.
Using leaves or shells to hide her face, she believes that this makeshift mask will help make friends with the other fairies, as she's very conscious that her appearance may seem intimidating or ugly.
Her accessories are an effort to copy what the other fairies do, in the hopes that she blends in, showing them that she can be just like them.
It's rare to see her come out during the day where she might get spooked by the other denizens of the forest.
Yet, since she's so inspired by the joyous festivities organised by the fair folk, with their colourful lights and beautiful sounds, she tries her best to combat her timid nature.
The hagstone she carries on the end of a cord is what she believes to be the source of her courage. She gives it a comforting squeeze before leaving her shelter, wishing to be just as brave as everyone else.

I had a dream about this creature here eating one of my biscuits from my stash! 🍪 I just found them so adorable that I had to make them real. Now they guard my biscuits!

Clay figurine, very rounded and smooth, two tiny horns, a big nose and two wide eyes looking very content and holding a biscuit between two big arms.

The Danse Macabre 💀 Character design of mine for our Beacon mini-campaign! I'm playing a Lifeweaver Elemental of life & death, seemed fitting for this time of year! 🕸

A vision of black and white, the everflowing dancer stares down at her foe through the stolen clay mask. Pale garments trail behind her as she grins with understanding that she has won. She wears cuffs of black metal, the skin that shows is cracked like drying earth, she beholds 3 other masks similar to the one she wears now.
