I hate this TikTok language that they all use. 'Graped' used for raped and 'unalived' instead of murdered or suicide. They do it to avoid being sanctioned for using disallowed words. I can't stand it.

Yea, friends not so much, some family members, definitely. No regrets, it was honestly gorgeous. Honeymoon was amazing too, if I had all the money in the world today, I'd still do it the exact same way.

Really just to avoid dramatics, people trying to persuade us to have a sesh, we had booked our hotel in Achill for the same day as the wedding and we were going over in the car, so no drinkies until we got to Mayo. We told them all that we'd have a session at some time after we got back from Achill.

I witnessed bickering matches at weddings with people bringing their kids when it was stated for 6 months before that it was going to be a kid free wedding. Weddings always bring drama, we didn't want any part of that and us being a pair of mouthpieces, we decided to do our own thing.

No, a lot of it was the expense, we had 2 kids at the time aswell. We got married and had a mini break in Achill for our honeymoon and the entire thing maybe coat us €2,000 approx.

We didn't want any fuss, and I do mean NO fuss. Didn't want the hassle. My mother was my witness so I told her she could tell the world once we had left for Achill. And she did, we got phonecalls within half an hour from some hurty feelings people that thought they didn't get invited. Sigh.

We had our 14th wedding anniversary 2nd October. Been together for 28 years. No regrets at all about doing our wedding on the sneak. It was wonderful 🥰

That's my story. We both went to local registry office which happened to be a hotel in the middle of the town (so much for stealth lol) we had one witness each who were both sworn to secrecy or we'd call it off. Got married in a 15 minute 'ceremony' then we went to Achill for a 3 night honeymoon 😆

Help Wanted: In May 2025 International Criminal Court President publicly asked for help from the EU. Specifically, to implement its own law that would protect Judges from sanctions being imposed on them *within the EU*. The EU has ignored request for help. We are 17 months on.
