Worth remembering - Jim Harbaugh absolutely loves JJ McCarthy, and now McCarthy will be coached by Jim's brother. I guarantee a conversation was had between the Harbaughs before this deal was finalized. Hopefully the change of scenery does JJ some good.

I grew up a Michigan fan, and went to WMU. I genuinely don't know how to feel about this game right now. I guess I'm now rooting for WMU to make the CFP. I think we all gave Whittingham the benefit of the doubt because of his track record, but this U of M team was wholly unprepared for this game

If David Peterson's day is done for the Cubs, this was his 9th time in 10 Chicago starts where he pitched at least 5 innings and gave up 3 ER or fewer. He accomplished that just twice in 8 starts with the Mets this year. Really savvy pickup by Jed this season. He gives Cubs a chance every time out

Reminder as preseason football ramps up for fantasy football players - usage is a lot more relevant than stats. We've seen countless players put up big preseason numbers against vanilla defenses who ultimately were useless in fantasy football.
