Saw a yap compilation and they mentioned getting canker sores. I think the lack of third spaces has led to the concept of not being a sweaty gamer. As gaming became more and more of a third space replacement it lead to people wanting to feel like they belonged. This is why we have arguments against skillbased matchmaking and people shouldn't try to win.

Mandrake is a fascinating looking game from the Sunless Seas/Skies devs, Failbetter Games. It's a sort of Stardew-esque farming sim, with a positively gorgeous artstyle and isometric viewpoint that evokes CRPGs, and I am very eager to see how this one shapes up, especially from these developers.
