This weekend I saw 'Tony' (very good if also extremely middlebrow) and 'The End of Oak Street' (a fun romp with dinosaurs). Both theaters were mostly full and it was super fun to go to a movie and not have it be super serious or full of superheroes. People will go to see good movies!

I went to see the latest Spider-Man movie. It was pretty good, tho I am aware that these are films basically made for children. And WHY are we making films for children that are TWO AND A HALF HOURS long? Easily an hour too long for any audience. Superheroes should be easy, quick, fun!

I think most people who experienced the lockdowns as inconvenient/unpleasant are those who live in suburbs or rural areas, and people who considered the lockdowns absolutely necessary to save lives mostly live in more densely populated areas.
