5.20am, talk about early risers. They must have that Friday feeling ☺️

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 16/05/2025

🤣😂🤣😂🤣 you know this is true haha I'm like but what if they can't fly on the first attempt, it's a big drop from box to concrete floor 😂

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 15/05/2025

They literally are ready to flee the best, 3 weeks tomorrow. I've got a camera on the outside of the. Ox ready to try catch their first flight :)

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 15/05/2025

😂 that was my response too haha was like ewwww, okay, cool, but ewwwww. I sent it my cousin at first, was like what did I just see that bird take out that birds mouth, she then sent it her mum who was like, that ain't no mouth 😂

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 15/05/2025

I'm glad and I'm I am good now thanks :)

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 15/05/2025

Lmao one of the most bizarre things I've witnessed was this yesterday - I did not know birds pulled the poo out of their chicks bums 😂 apparently because chicks don't drink much water - the mother has to assist 😂 parental dedication is that!

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 15/05/2025

It's getting a little cramped in there 😂

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 14/05/2025

She's laid 6 eggs, how cute is it that daddy Great Tit just swings by with some grub for the mother to be :) #GreatTit #Nesting

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 14/03/2025

Well, after a an extensive investigation.... 😂 the 1st Tit in the box is not my resident Tit, mainly because it couldn't fit through the hole, but then she came in 2nd behind to defend within 2 seconds and overall she kicked his ass. Unfortunately though I don't know which bird is now the box lmao!😂

110

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 05/03/2025

😂😂😂😂 I don't think they hit it off in the end because he hasn't been back since lmao! I mean it is entirely possible she has been going around to his gaff instead LOL

010

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

Good question, now I'm just assuming but I think this is her mating friend and I think her leaving was part of that process, they both left the box literally seconds after he came in, she came back later on this evening. So I'm assuming he'll be back for Netflix and chill at some point 😂

110

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

It must have been because he didn't want my bird box upstaging his bird box 😂😂😂

110

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 20/02/2025

Sorry for late reply I seen your post but forgot to reply. Seems OP has blocked the post but I did see it :)

110

Shane Norris @shanenozza.bsky.social · 20/02/2025

Hey :) it's very similar, this is mine. The appears hole is much smaller on mine and the bottom of the box just has the 4 corners chopped put so poop can fall out instead of the mesh. Although spider webs seem to block those holes so nothing falls through anyway 😂

Bird box from the inside of the box. Sun shining into it.

Inside of the bird box a bird great tit sleeps.

As Pete Hegseth answers questions from the armed services committee, we thought we’d share this op ed from combat veterans Senator Duckworth and Senator Kelly outlining why he is not qualified to be Defense Secretary. bit.ly/3PzFky5

Hegseth’s track record falls short of military standards: Dem senators

Opinion: In this op-ed, Sens. Kelly and Duckworth argue Pete Hegseth falls short of the standards expected of those he would oversee as defense secretary.

The radicalisation of much of the right in Britain far exceeds that of the left under Corbyn. (I say that as a staunch critic of Corbyn). It's essential that decent Conservatives speak out, if they don't want the likes of Cummings, Oakeshott and Jenrick to prostitute their tradition to an arsonist.

I am searching for right wing voices who are standing up to Musk and speaking clearly against what is happening. It's very hard. Some are silent, which is better than active participation but not exactly brave.

Literally all they had to do was calmly condemn Musk’s dishonest & inciteful attack on their parliamentary colleague, Jess Phillips. And they couldn’t even manage that. Absolutely shameful.

Some people in recent days have alleged a ‘cover-up’ over the grooming & rape of hundreds of young girls in predominantly northern UK towns, leading to calls for a ‘national’ public inquiry into child sexual exploitation FWIW here’s a non-exhaustive list of inquiries into #CSE in last 12 yrs…

Yeah I think they just use our garden as a bypass to and from their actual homes across road. Whether they're all from the same family I don't know but they all come the same route 🤣 The birdbox still has its tenent and I'm pretty sure that will nest now it's been back every day since moving in :)

Did you know that you should end your alt text with a period? "End alt text with a period, even if it isn’t a full sentence. The period ensures that the screen reader pauses after reading the alt text." This was a new tip for me. Glad to learn something new! www.nngroup.com/articles/wri...

Ever wonder what the secret ingredient is in your favorite dessert? We can’t answer that, but we can share this planet formation recipe! It takes a high degree of precision and a lot of patience, but the result is pretty spectacular: bit.ly/3Cv3k2e 🔭 🧪

A horizontal infographic illustrates a loose recipe for planet formation. Title text at top left reads “Recipe for Planet Formation, with star and nebula.” Below the headline are two lists: Ingredients, which lists four ingredients, and Methods, which is threaded throughout the infographic in numerical order. In the Methods section, gas, dust, and ice in a nebula contracts under gravity to form a star, surrounded by a flattened disk. Inside the disk, dust and ice stick together to form planetesimals and then planets, leading to a planetary system.
