Found the reason. Banana mode was enabled, duh.

Here's the behavior: 1. It replies to mentions. 2. It replies to followers. 3. It replies to a random account (if they've never been reached out to before) at most once an hour. 4. It posts stats and a winner once per day. It sounds like this isn't what you want, feel free to ignore/unfollow/block.

Should be less noisy starting now! The usage on bluesky wasn't super high when I ported this from twitter & mastodon awhile ago, so I had removed the rate-limiting at the time. After fixing the search endpoint retrieval, it looks like it's getting closer to twitter levels.

The SD card on the Raspberry Pi used for our Homebridge instance died, so I used it as an opportunity to switch over to Home Assistant. It definitely requires more setup to HomeKit-it everything, and the camera ecosystem isn’t as robust, but the customization seems unparalleled.
