Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is one of the best damn puzzle games I've played, the pitch I'd give is, imagine a Survival Horror game, but everything is puzzles. It's a wonderfully stylish experience, I absolutely can't recommend it highly enough.

I guess I hope they also take the chance to revisit elements that they couldn't or just didn't in the original game. What happens with Zora's Domain, that Castle Town feels more chaotic in that major halfway point, etc. So far, it looks good. But there's room to do more.

My big letdown is (so far) Hyrule Field still feels empty. They didn't expand scale too much from what we've seen, but added density and culture. Which is awesome. But the field still feels like a big empty space. I hope they add enemies etc. to make it feel more involved.

I love is the thought and detailing that went into reconceptualizing the Kokiri as kids that live in the forest. They don't look like they just shop at Castle Town. The fibres of their cloths look like woven grass, the sword looks unique to the woods. But not everything gets that same attention.

I don't care about Rockstar's games. I think they did groundbreaking work with scale on the PS2, as well as pulling from cinematic inspirations in their presentation. Bully+Warriors were super novel. But since the 360/PS3 gen, I don't connect with how those games feel, their stories, or structure.
