All the “there’s no evidence SARS-CoV-2 causes brain damage” takes I’ve seen are weak, unscientific, and often just opinion masquerading as fact. Let’s break this down with actual facts, rather than mere conjecture. 🧵
Marc Veldhoen tweets: “There was no lymphopenia, no superantigen, no immune damage/dysfunction/exhaustion. There are no large outbreaks of infections.
Furthermore, there are no increases in cancers due to SARS-CoV-2 infection, no compounded risk of longCovid, etc.
Now it is brain damage”Marc Veldhoen tweets: “Sneaky, nobody can see it, and nobody can be aware..... so they will always be right.
They will blame everything and anything on SARS-CoV-2, regardless of its lack of plausibility or the absence of actual evidence.
And all the ZeroCovid accounts are at it!”

After COVID-19, your risk of heart attack or stroke can double - even if your symptoms were mild.
To help look after your heart, you should get the COVID-19 vaccine each year before the flu season starts. https:// pulse.ly/r3ww08dk5z

1. How your risk increases with COVID
COVID-19 can have serious consequences for your heart.

2. Increased Risk of Heart Attack &
Stroke After COVID-19, your risk of heart attack or stroke can double - even it your symptoms were mild.
This risk can last for months or even years after infection.
COVID-19 can also cause inflammation and damage to blood vessels, making them "older" and stiffer, increasing your lifetime risk of heart disease.

3. Long COVID = Long-Term Heart Risk
1 in 5 people with Long COVID report chest pain, palpitations or high blood pressure. These symptoms can signal lasting heart issues.

4. Vaccines Help Protect Your Heart
Vaccination reduces your risk of severe Covid-19 and its heart complications.
If you have heart disease, staying up to date with your COVID-19 and flu shots is essential.Cooker post from Jason Carroll and heart foundation reply.

"If You Suffer from Urgent Normal Syndrome, Ask for Help" Published: 26 June 2023 Urgent normal syndrome is defined by: 🔸Unhealthy attraction to crowded indoor spaces 🔸Anxiety at the sight of masks or air purifiers 🔸An urge to downplay threats 🔸Avoidance of “bad news" Source: archive.md/EVlwU
A screenshot of an article by Jessica Wildfire, published on 26 June 2023, titled “If You Suffer from Urgent Normal Syndrome, Ask for Help.” Below the title is an illustration showing a lone man in a suit and mask standing apart from a dense crowd of people holding umbrellas. The crowd is sketched in muted tones and blends together in the rain, while the solitary man stands clearly defined, holding a briefcase and facing the masses. The scene conveys isolation, contrast, and the feeling of being one person against a society rushing toward “normal.”

4 panel cartoon. Images described below:

Slide 1: The first panel of a black and white 4-panel comic. A triangle character is talking to a circle character who's wearing a face mask.
The triangle smiles slightly and points at the circle and says "It's smart you still wear a mask".

Slide 2: In panel 2, the background is all black and the text is now white. There's a close up of just the triangle's face, who looks worried with bags under their eyes. Text above them reads
"When I had Covid, I couldn't taste food for nine months. It hurt to breathe. My lungs haven't been the same..."

Slide 3: In panel 3, it's back to a white background and inked doodles on top. The masked circle holds up a mask to the triangle and says "I'm sorry. I have masks you can use?" The triangle looks at the circle with a neutral expression and open mouth.

Slide 4: The final panel of the comic. The triangle runs away with a happy expression and says "No, I'm fine!" The masked circle turns to face us with a blank expression, with the spare mask still in hand but lowered to the ground.
