Yesterday was #TartanDay, a day created in Australia to celebrate Scottish heritage. It's odd being an Aussie living in Scotland, whenever I hear the bagpipes I feel homesick for town celebrations with the Highland Marching band and sausage sizzles.

Slip, slop, slap is where it started. I hear the tune every time I put on sunscreen. From the 90s further action included mandatory wearing of legionnaires hats in order to play outside, Slap was was broadened to slap on sunnies and a shirt, and when swimming to wear a rash vest.

Star Trek Lower Decks scene. A tabletop console screen displays a very animated Klingon (figuratively and literally because it's a cartoon). He's raising fists into the air and looks to be screaming. He has one eye..
In front of the screen, a small model Klingon figurine holds a bat'leth over thier head. Closed caption reads, "You eat breakfast and gain plus-three stamina!"
