There's disagreement in meditation circles about this. In Rob Burbea's "Seeing That Frees" (a meditation manual that's heavily influenced by Mahayana sources) he makes a similar argument to this post and explicitly says that if you are conscious you're conceptualizing to some degree.

Discovering thinkygames.com was one of the pleasant surprises of 2024. There's a lot of creative work being done in indie puzzle games, and some of them the site recommends don't have many Steam reviews. I definitely wouldn't have learned about DROD somewhere else.

What gets me about Tarot in particular is how many people I've seen practice it with obvious sincere belief, then say "oh, I don't *believe* it, it's just fun". Lying (to yourself as well as others) about your woo beliefs is significantly worse than being honest about them.
