One of the scene in Coven had me just completely flabbergasted with how truly tone deaf it was. Everything surrounding race in Coven is so fucking bad its insane.

Partner and I have been slowly making our way through AHS (they've watched the first 6 or so seasons before) and thats truly insane television. Eventually just looked at everything he's been involved with and its genuinely scary hes everywhere

Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse: archive.org/details/tipp...

A casual Star Wars alien fella at the cantina, in a sun faded, reddish photo. Someone will be mad at me for not knowing who this is.

Phil, a balding Caucasian man, poses a model of the garthok, an antagonist from the Coneheads movie.

Phil, a balding caucasian man, points at some CG on a CRT computer monitor, as a younger man looks on. The screen shows a model of a dinosaur attacking a jeep, while there's an actual physical model of that event in the foreground for reference.

an isolated shot of a star wars vehicle. Sorry, I don't know star wars lol

Hiiii #mushroom people I share photos of my backyard tree that spawned some little friends over night LMAO I’m wondering though if anyone could confirm that this is actual chicken of the wood vs the lookalike 🙂

1st photo of a set of four (four viewpoints of same subject)

Pictured : a lightning struck redbud tree that is very much dead but still standing. Various vegetation surrounds the ground around said tree. The bark is dark grey in nature with a darker brown middle that is scattered with shelf style mushrooms that are HOPEFULLY chicken of the woods (a yellow to light orange mushroom). There is a collection of it at the center of the trunk that is hollowed out from the strike, with a smaller collection near the top where different large limbs branch out.

The same redbud pictured before now from the “front” instead of the “back” — more mushrooms are present. Some moss is growing on one of the dead limbs as well.

A better shot of the small collection talked about in the 1st picture that is from the front. Shows a better view of the hollowed out tree as well where it almost looks split in two.

A full shot of the front of the dead redbud tree with a large collection of mushrooms in the front of it.

This is reductive because Kevin Greutert was the editor on that original film so James and Leigh are actually fucking over one of the orignal creatives

Saw might be the first series i’ve seen where people have been incredibly angry that the rights for it have gotten back into the hands of the creatives who worked on it originally.

so now we have like 2 sorta conflicting version of the events of end of that game between the game and the comic that released around the time of the film. the next film is also theoretically supposed to be about roughly the same period of time

lil_Sethamphetamine @sethamphetamine.bsky.social · 23/09/2026
